§ 3. [Certification; request for seal.]

That the clerk of this council shall forthwith certify a copy of this resolution to the secretary of The Industrial Development Authority of the City of Salem, Virginia, with the request that said authority secure an appropriate seal, showing thereon its proper name, to be used in the conduct of the affairs of said authority.
